The prices below are starting points to help providers understand likely costs before making an enquiry. Final fees are agreed once the nature of the service, the size and complexity of the provider, and the level of support required have been discussed.
Mock CQC Inspection
Providers who want an independent view of how their service may stand up to CQC scrutiny and where evidence, systems or practice may need strengthening.
£700 per day
Half-day support from £350
Mock inspections usually take 3–5 days depending on site size, service type and agreed scope.
Associated travel and accommodation expenses apply for on-site work.
Ongoing Compliance
Providers who want regular, practical support to maintain compliance, review evidence, strengthen governance and work through action plans.
£100 per hour
Ongoing support is usually 1–2 hours per month and is generally provided remotely.
Action planning can be included within ongoing support or provided as ad hoc hourly support where a provider needs help responding to identified areas for improvement.
Training and Development
Teams who want practical training on CQC expectations, inspection preparation, governance, evidence, compliance or service-specific areas of concern.
Half day from £350
Full day from £700
Training is available remotely or on site, with a minimum booking of half a day.
Associated travel and accommodation expenses apply for on-site work.
CQC Registration Support
Providers preparing for first registration, changes to registration or support with the evidence and preparation required for the registration process.
Half day from £400
Full package from £4,000
The full package includes 5.5 days of support, including registered manager interview preparation.
The package is designed for providers who want structured support across the registration process rather than ad hoc input only.
Enforcement Response
Providers who need urgent, practical help responding to CQC concerns, enforcement correspondence, draft reports, factual accuracy challenges or formal notices.
Minimum half-day support from £500
Support is scoped around the issue, available evidence, urgency and the required next step.
Urgent or immediate support may be available, subject to availability and the nature of the issue.
